As an employee of DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) there are many opportunities to participate in community charitable events. Along with corporate support, DAC employees have generously donated their time and resources to helping those less fortunate in the community. Although we are a small company, we have supported Thanksgiving Baskets, Secret Santa
Programs, Christmas in April, and Clothing Drives.

December 2009, DAC Brings Holiday Cheer to the Fisher and Mologne Houses! For the second consecutive year, on December 23, 2009, DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) delivered an abundance of gifts and holiday goodies which were donated by our employees. DAC employees enjoyed helping to brighten the holiday season for those in need, supporting the children and families that are temporarily living at the Fisher and Mologne Houses located at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. These residences serve as “a home away from home” to provide a comfortable living situation to military families while medical services are provided to their loved ones. Mr. Peter Anderson, Director of Mologne House said the families in residence (and the staff) truly appreciate the gifts received from DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation employees. We appreciate their service to the soldiers and their families and we look forward to helping Mologne House residents in the future, with this and other community support activities in 2010. On December 21, 2009, the generous Employee Owners of DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation’s (DAC) Colorado Springs office donated money to the CVRC at the Crawford House. On December 15, 2009, our generous Employee Owners from the DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) office in Jefferson, Indiana made a contribution to the Clarke County Youth Shelter and Family Services. The shelter serves as a safe and caring place for at-risk youth and families in the local community who were runaways, victims of abuse or homeless. Our employees’ donation will enable the shelter to continue providing a program which will help these young people grow to have a more successful and peaceful life. November 2009, DAC Supports The Home Front Cares. On November 4, 2009, for the second consecutive year, DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation (DAC) showed its support for the United States Military and their families through their sponsorship of The Home Front Cares Annual Military Appreciation Dinner.
The dinner is held at the Broadmoor hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. For the past two years, DAC has purchased a table for 10 and invited their Employee-Owners (EOs), especially those located in the Colorado Springs area, to attend. This year’s keynote address was delivered by General David H. Petraeus, Commander, United States Central Command. Pictured, is excited DAC EO and “Army-brat”, Ashley Zais, meeting Gen. Petraeus just before his remarks. |
October 2009, Presentation & Live Demonstration from DAC Sponsored AIM Robotics Team 1123. At the end of DAC’s monthly birthday-celebration lunch, Team 1123 from AIM (Autodidactic Intelligent Minors) Robotics visited DAC and provided DAC EOs with an overview of the AIM Robotics program and a live demonstration of Team 1123’s most recent robot. AIM is a dedicated group of students and mentors teamed up together to participate in the FIRST Foundation’s robotics competition. Every January, teams of high school students from all over the country receive identical guidelines for the upcoming competition. They have 6 weeks to then design, build, test, and ship a robot to compete in Regional and then National competitions against other teams’ robots. Team 1123 is mentored by DAC EO Bruce Swett and is sponsored by DAC. |
October 2009, DAC Sponsors Naval Crew. DAC is proud to announce their sponsorship of the Naval crew stationed aboard the USS BENFOLD (DDG 65) led by CDR Tom Disy. The BENFOLD has just begun a six month deployment to the Middle East. To support our troops and show our gratitude for CDR Disy and his crew, DAC has raised money (over $1500) to purchase a computer for the crew to use for their “United Through Reading” program. The “United Through Reading” program allows crew members with children at home to record videos of themselves reading a book to then send home and be played. Disy wrote, “I’ve used the program since Eddie was very little and I know it works well to keep a connection going.” Because the ship is always moving, it is difficult to mail the DVDs home. A new computer will allow crew members to record videos much more quickly and email them immediately to their families. |
October 2009, Team DAC participates in Army Ten Miler with biggest turnout yet! DAC had three teams and a total of 21 runners who successfully completed the 25th Annual Army Ten-Miler on Sunday, October 4th. The fastest of the three teams finished 30th out of 90 total corporate teams. Completing the race was an exciting accomplishment for all runners who showed up. Some DAC employee-owners have already set new goals for next year! |
June 2009, DAC named one of Washington's Top 50 Best Places to Work in 2009. Employee-Owners enjoyed attending a breakfast hosted by the Washington Business Journal in honor of being named one of Washington’s Top 50 Best Places to Work in 2009. To compete for the award, 70% of employees were surveyed by an outside survey company on their personal experience working at DAC. Topics covered in the survey ranged from company benefits, company culture, to respect for and trust in one’s bosses and coworkers. |

February 2009, DAC held its Annual Training Meeting (ATM). DAC sponsors an ATM each year and encourages its employee-owners to participate. The ATM is held in various locations which are able to accommodate our business training needs in a family-friendly atmosphere. During the ATM, DAC provides new training as well as refreshers on basic DAC systems and processes. Because DAC has employee-owners who normally work in various facilities in the DC area (in addition to other states such as Colorado, Indiana and Alabama) DAC takes full advantage of having its employee-owners together in one location during the ATM and places strong emphasis on team-building activities. Our most recent teambuilding exercise was derived from Survivor-like activities. The ATM provides a unique opportunity for employee-owners to socialize and get to know fellow employee-owners and their families, including those from diverse corporate locales. |
