EXPORT CONTROL AND COMPLIANCE U.S. companies require comprehensive export compliance programs with expeditious Technical Assistance Agreements and export licenses for conducting overseas business. DAC produces, submits and expedites numerous agreements, some of which involve multiple companies through the State and Defense Departments, to assure critical program milestones are met. U.S.-JAPAN MISSILE DEFENSE COOPERATION Our past participation in U.S.-Japan Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)Studies, U.S.-Japan BMD Working Groups and subsequent bilateral missile defense forums has contributed significantly to what will soon become an operational missile defense system for Japan. Thiscapability is a vital underpinning of our Nation’s Asia Strategy and is a hallmark for transforming the U.S.-Japan Mutual Securityrelationship. U.S.-JAPAN SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION DAC assists the DoD’s International Cooperation Office in managing and executing the U.S.-Japan Systems and Technology Forum. Our extensive security assistance and research and development experience with the Japan Defense Agency have assisted the U.S. defense and intelligence communities in energizing the Forum which is now producing unprecedented bilateral U.S.-Japan cooperation. U.S.-EUROPE TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION Our recent appointment to be the National Defense Industrial Association’s U.S. representative to the NATO Industrial Advisory Group has opened new avenues for supporting transatlantic cooperation. The appointment to this prestigious group is in recognition of our abilities to understand and bridge international issues in both the public and private sector.
